IDPA AWARDS FOR EXCELLENCE 2009
ELIGIBILITY & RULES
1. Any film or video produced in India from 1st July 2008 to 31st March 2010, is eligible for entry.
2. The last date for receipt of entries is 15th May 2010. Late entries will be accepted upto 31st May 2010 only on payment of a late fee as specified in the schedule of entry fees.
3. Entries are to be submitted only on DVD. One DVD per category.
4. All films, other than those in Hindi and English, must have English subtitles.
5. Entries in the Cell Stories category must be wholly comprised of material acquired on a mobile phone camera. The finished film may be submitted on CD in wmv, mov or wav formats.
6. Every title entered will require a separate entry form.
A title may be submitted under several categories of competition within a single entry form. Consolidated entry fees for all entries may be submitted through a single cheque payable at par in Mumbai or a demand draft in favour of. “Indian Documentary Producers’ Association”
7.Technical Excellence categories are not eligible for student discounts.
8.The responsibility for completion of the entry form rests with the entrant. IDPA will accept
all details as attested by the entrant as final. Falsification of details could lead to the disqualification of the entry.
9.Please include the following items with this entry form.
* DVD of entry. One DVD for every category.
* Soft & Hard Copies of:
• 200-word synopsis of the film
• Two stills from the film
• Vertical Format Photograph of Director of the film
• 100-word bio-filmography of the Director
* Cheque/Demand Draft favouring “Indian Documentary Producers’ Association”
PLEASE NOTE:
ALL PICTURES / PHOTOGRAPHS NEED TO BE IN PRINTABLE RESOLUTION ~ (300 dpi)
PLEASE TEST COMPUTER BURNT DVDs on several makes and models of players before sending.
DVD+RW and DVD-RW are not accepted
10.Juries appointed by the Indian Documentary Producers’ Association will judge each category of the IDPA Awards. The decision of each jury shall be final and binding on all entrants. The results of the IDPA Awards 2009 will be announced and awards conferred at a public function in the first week of June 2010.

Schedule of Entry Fees for the IDPA Awards 2009: To be submitted by Cash / Cheque / Demand Draft in favour of Indian Documentary Producers Association. Entry fees once accepted will not be refunded under any circumstances.
