- In keeping with the India focus of the festival, the theme of this competition shall be “ADVANTAGE INDIA”.
- To participate in this competition, the 3 minute film shall, apart from being based in or about India, focus on the advantages / positives / achievements of India and/or its citizens. Basically, it should depict the brighter and positive side of India.
- A jury will select the top 3 films. The first 3 winners’ films will be exhibited at the River-To-River Indian Film Festival at Florence, Italy in December 2008.
- Mr. Indra Kumar – Director of Dil, Ishq, Masti, Dhamaal etc.
- Mr. Kunal Kohli – Director of movies like Hum Tum Fanaa etc.
- Mr. Rohit Shetty – Director Golmal, Golmal Returns
- Mr. R. Balki – Director of Cheeni Kam and creative head Lowe.
- Ms. Selvaggia Velo – River to River
- The films shall not be more than 3 minutes in duration, excluding the beginning and end credits. Films exceeding this time limit are liable to be rejected.
- The films shall be either based in India or shall be about India with the focus on the advantages / positives / achievements of India and/or its citizens. Basically, it should depict the brighter and positive side of India. The film should be shot by an Indian director.
- The films shall be the work of the year 2007 / 2008 only. Films made prior to this period are liable to be rejected.
- The films to be shot in a format which can be exhibited on a big screen. The recommended format is standard definition PAL (minimum 720 x 576 pixels) – DV or miniDV.
- All films shall be submitted by courier or in person on a DVD at.

- All DVDs shall be labelled with the Title, Director’s Name and Format of the film. A synopsis, biography of the director, high def photos (300 dpi) and the director’s statement shall also be submitted along with the DVD.
- The last date for submitting the film shall be 31st October 2008. Entries received after that date is liable to be out-rightly rejected. The dates mentioned hereinabove refer to the dates of receipt of the DVD by www.1takemedia.com at the above mentioned address. The decision of www.1takemedia.com regarding the date of receipt of the entries shall be final and binding.
- Films can be in English, Hindi or any other Indian language, however, all films will have to be sub-titled in English. Films without English sub-titles are liable to be rejected.
- All the rights including but not limited to distribution, exhibition and Intellectual Property Rights of the films submitted shall rest with the sponsors “Time Broadband Services Limited” hereinafter referred to as the “Sponsors” in perpetuity. By sending the film for the competition the film makers, producer, etc. do hereby transfer all the rights as mentioned hereinabove to the Sponsors and give up any claims, compensations, rights, etc on the said film. The Sponsors shall have absolute and final authority to deal with the said film / content in any manner it deems fit.
- The decision of the jury shall be final, unquestionable and binding on all participants.
- The jury and/or the Organisers may reject any film without assigning any reason whatsoever and the same cannot be challenged.
- Once submitted the films cannot be withdrawn for any reason whatsoever.
- No materials, documents, etc. Submitted for participation shall be returned under any circumstances and shall become the joint property of the Organisers.
- The scheduling, timetable and screening of the winners’ films shall be at the discretion of the festival organisers.
- Entry and participation of films implies unconditional acceptance of the regulations. In unspecified cases, the Organiser will make the final decision which shall be final and binding.
