CMS VATAVARAN Film Festival Directorate is now accepting entries for CMS VATAVARAN 2007 – 4th Competitive Environment and Wildlife Film Festival slated for 12 - 16 September 2007 at the India Habitat Centre, New Delhi.
Rush in your entries and avail the Early Bird offer till 31st March 2007. Last date for sending in your films will be 30th April 2007. The entry forms and guidelines as well as the delegate registration forms are available on our website www.cmsvatavaran.org
CMS VATAVARAN 2007 awards/recognizes films in all genres (documentaries, docu-dramas, narratives, shorts, advertising campaigns, public service announcements, new media, etc), which inform, educate, foster knowledge, understanding and action on environment, wildlife issues or other socially relevant environment themes.
2007 Festival present Seventeen Awards in Twelve categories. New initiatives in CMS VATAVARAN 2007:
- RECOGNISE achievements in technical excellence
- INTRODUCE International Competitive Category
- HONOUR the world ’s most outstanding documentaries on natural world or conservation theme
- FEJI Young Environmental Journalist Award
We invite entries from independent filmmakers, production houses, animators, broadcast networks, organizations, journalists, students, educational institutions etc. All the entries will get listed on both the website and festival directory. The finalist films of all category as well as those of particular interest or merit will be screened and promoted not only at the festival but also during the CMS VATAVARAN traveling film festival. Thus by sending in your entries to CMS VATAVARAN 2007, your films will be getting recognition and travel across the world.

I would like to invite you to the Press Launch of the Cape Town Bollywood Film Festival. It will be held at Cinemax Theatre (multicomplex) in Versova on 29 March 2007 at 14h00. Cinemax Theatre is one of the Presenting Partners of the Press Launch of Cape Town Bollywood Film Festival.
The Press Launch of the Cape Town Bollywood Film Festival is open to the public. There will be many Bollywood stars, Producers and Directors attending. There might possibly be a special appearance from a Hollywood star as well.
The program is exciting and there will possibly be entertainment including a screening of a new release.

DOCUSUR, International Southern Documentary Film Festival and Market,
is a spot light upon international documentary productions, with a unique focus on documentaries produced or shot in Africa, Asia, and Latin America,
or thematically related to southern countries.
DOCUSUR will take place from November 10th to November 17th 2007 in Guía de Isora, Canary Islands, Spain.
